Hey guys, I could use some help with Broncos tickets. Since I only buy them once a year, it is fairly easy to forget part of the process. (2 years done so far)

It looks like half price tickets go on sale at 11am (tomorrow, July 8th). I thought full price went on sale at 1, but when I click the link for full price tickets in ticketmaster it indicates that they go on sale at 11 also. Was it always this way, did it change recently, or am I misunderstanding it?

Any advice? When I first got to Colorado a few forum members helped me figure out how to get half price tickets and now my wife wants me to order half price to one game and then try to add a pair of the full price tickets so we can attend two games. Yes, my wife is the one encouraging more football game attendance.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

To contribute a lesson I learned last year: Do not have two computers on the same network trying to buy half price tickets. The server will keep screwing up your requests. I don't know the technology behind the system, but having two computers resulted in like 5 failed attempts last year. When I had my wife close her browsers my next request went through.

Yes, I think you have it figured out. Everyone seems to go for the games by calendar date. I went for the last game of the year and got tickets.

Well let me put it this way... I think the fat lady has sung and it's all over but the shouting. I got mine then tried each and every other half-priced sale down the list and got nothing.

McGowdog, did you use the app?

It seems the process got overran by the app this year. I also learned that ticketmaster uses your local computer time, so if your computer is 9 seconds behind the federal time while cell phones are set based off satellite, you get a delayed plus an "anti bot" screening method that is not applied to the app. Needless to say, it cost me several seconds and the tickets were sold out. I would like to see ticket master shutdown, but that will never happen in our corrupt system.

Next year I'm using the app across three devices on separate networks and looking for a bot that will assist (their anti-bot protection is all built around browsers, not around people just using the bot on the crappy app itself). The widespread use of the app means more people getting on from work to order which dramatically increased the competition. What a joke.

The whole system was made much worse by them allowing scalping on their site and receiving a commission for it. They have an enormous financial incentive to help scalpers so they can collect a second fee on the tickets. Regulate them into the ground.

I used my computer and was able to get tickets. It did twirl for about a minute after I made a selection but then my options popped up. We do have a very fast connection here. Don't know if that helped.
