Very sad - DOUGLAS COUNTY – Southbound Interstate 25 was closed south of Castle Rock Sunday night in Monday morning after a state trooper was hit and killed by a vehicle near Tomah Road.

Very sorry to hear that. At least he wasn't attacked by some dirtball.

AND by a retired Army Colonel...retired in '13...a great guy,
all his neighbors said!
He cried.
People told exactly what he had to drink here and there before driving.
Terrible, she, 33, had an 8 month old.

Many lives effected here...and by alcohol and driving....

KKCO is the NBC affiliate here in western Colorado and reported on this last night. Apparently this individual was heading home from the Denver Bronco/Kansas City Chiefs game and had admitted to authorities that he had several beers in the afternoon.

...after using intimidation and questionable tactics to trample said dirtballs constitutional rights. Agreed.

If you looked at the story you would have seen that SHE was a 33 year old mother - Jaimie Jursevics.
RESPECT.

I don't give a #### if the guy who killed her cried. He should not have been driving drunk. A beautiful little baby doesn't have a mother now because of his senseless act.

Tragic beyond words. She was only 33 and a new mom. The Westword paper has the story, with pics of COL Henderson both in uniform and his mug shots in a Bronco shirt.

Very tragic all around. *No one* should be driving impaired, and that's NO ONE.

What gets me is the local news spend the entire story talking about how great that drunk murderer was. Barely mentioned the Trooper at all. Absolutely disgusting.
