I will be voting for this measure. Quality of life is far more important than quantity.

Got an email recently from the Prop 106 proponents and it tells me the Diocese of Denver has put up $1M to fight 106. Diocese from other states are funding the opposition as is Focus on the Family. I don't care what any church preaches to its members, but leave the rest of us out of it.

Denver Post editorial in favor of Prop 106.

Having watched two close relatives die of metastatic cancer, I fully support this measure. My auntie was days in a hospital, barely conscious, her breath rattling in her chest, unable to eat as she wasted away, sometimes coughing up blood. And my uncle was drugged out of his mind on morphine and still moaned in agony when anyone touched him. It was horrible. He was such a stoic man, and I cannot imagine the level of pain he must have been in.

I'm not in Colorado so I won't vote on this poll but I really hope you guys pass this one! You will be joining Washington, Vermont, Oregon, California, and kinda sorta Montana! Soon enough, and hopefully, it's in every state in the union.
