I would recommend you talk to the Jeep tour place in Ouray. You and your visitors can sit back, let them drive. Go see Yankee Boy Basin, some of the other very scenic areas.

This is great advice, late July is the peak time for wildflower viewing in Yankee Boy Basin, truly a sight to behold.

Equally as scary, but much more possible is when washboard triggers an ABS event in the braking system that won't let you lock up the brakes when in reality locking them up will create so much drag in the dirt that it WILL stop the vehicle from the resulting berm of material it creates.
