Im moving to the denver aurora area this summer. I will be making pretty good money, and was wondering where a nicer neighborhood within an hour commute of downtown denver would be located. Also ive been trying to figure out how far of a drive i would be looking at if i wanted to escape the city life and be in the wilderness. Thank you

aurora is on the far side of denver from the mountains, but its not that far.. less than an hour(by my small experience) gets you in. from there it just depends on where you want to go.. cherry creek state park also is in/borders aurora and is a nature area.

as far as where to live, name what kind of neighborhood you're looking for. hell, if you wanted to live in the "wilderness", ive been told its only about a 45min commute from evergreen(mountain type with trees and streams and such on your property) to aurora(i was looking at around 225fwy/iliff ave for that estimate)

That is a little optimistic. I'd give it an hour in normal traffic.
