Sounds like Black Friday will be White Friday. Stay home, throw another log on the fire, eat pumpkin pie, drink black coffee. Yummm.

Having a "friendsgiving" dinner right down the street at the True Grit. Food should be good, company will be neighbors I haven't met yet.

Get ready for the storms! Nasty travel for the high country, the local GJ stations are calling for 12 to 20 inches of snow in the high country starting tomorrow morning, then another system comes in on Thanksgiving day.

With all this snow, will the Great Pumpkin still come down our chimneys and leave us lots of stuff? I want a pony.

Is your pumpkin patch the most sincere?

There are times, like now, we wish we could be Snowbirds, but that will never happen. We do know, from when we lived on the Front Range before...…...it's a must to endure the winters here to be able to enjoy the great summers.

Heck, even with these snowstorms we've been having since Oct 10th, Colorado, for us, is so, so much better than living in the South and/or Florida!

Am watching FOX 31, it's the only Denver station we get in Mesa County. Colorado State Patrol showed a couple pics on their Twitter acct. of a nasty crash west of Vail Pass which has resulted in a fatality. They didn't mention anything about road closures, at least right now. Snowing hard, with 20-25 m.p.h. winds.

Watching the morning news, it's going to be a nasty week for conditions, looks like. I generally go to visit relatives for Thanksgiving, doesn't look like that will be in the cards.

Just watching the news on TV here in the Phoenix area and they tell me that I-76 is closed from Denver to the state line with Nebraska and that I-70 is shut in several places across the high country. They also report that Denver airport has cancelled at least 460 flights today which will ripple across the nation.
