We received 5" of snow on Tuesday. It's been snowing like crazy since 3:30, about 5" now (foothills west of Boulder).
This is good.

Snowfall this week = 18" over 5 days (snowing again this morning)
We ALWAYS get snow at this time in April, but it's typically a big 2-3' dump over a day or two. And it's always followed by a beautiful sunny bluebird day.
In 24 years here we've never had 6 days in a row of upslope fog, snow and very cold temperatures (lows in the teens ,"highs" in the 20s). We're in some kind of bizarre groundhog day infinite loop.

Nothing but more dratted wind in the Exceptional Drought corner of the state. Unless you count a few minutes of spit so sparse it didn’t even dampen the ground.

Send the northern snows and rains this way!
