My husband & I may be moving to SE Colorado. Can anyone tell me about the VA medical clinics in La Junta, Pueblo, Colorado Springs and any others in the area?

Hi, I suggest looking on the government website -- I found this link (just copy and paste if you can't link from here) and it lists all the VA centers in Colorado -- just go to the home page from there -- hope this helps!

http://www1.va.gov/directory/guide/s...RL=state%2Easp

[moderator adds this: the above URL is 227 characters long and can be cumbersome. There is a FREE site that converts long URLs to short ones, i.e., www.tinyurl.com and when I put in the above link it came back as: http://tinyurl.com/28344j (broken link) which is just 25 characters. My advice to everyone is to use www.tinyurl.com for these huge URL strings. Thanks!]

Thank you Wisteria for your info and I did look under that website. I'm wondering if anyone out there uses any of these VA clinics and what's their opinion of them? Also, I noticed a VA clinic in Lamar. Can anyone tell me anything about the clinics?

Hi again. I used to work for the VA many years ago, but I hear it has improved a lot. It's kind of a toss-up -- you just don't know what you're going to get, and each person's experience is different. From what I understand, they've really improved (which is good). Good luck to you!
