I am interested in moving to Colorado. Interested in living right in town where I can walk or bike to market, theater, parks, etc., but want beautiful snow capped mountain views from home or condo. Prefer city with lots to do, but safe and charming. Any suggestions?

Well..... I have mountain views from my house but my next door neighbor does not. At my old place the people across the street had mountain views but I did not. Seriously, this question is impossible to answer.

Default Ok, Ok

I don't expect to ever find mountain views from every piece of property, but in general a town where there are views of mountains from the middle of town. Hopefully, something in or near the Rockies.

Try Vail and Aspen.

You can get some gorgeous mountain views from the high-rise apartment/condo buildings in downtown Denver. There are also other high-rise buildings around Cheesman Park and in the Tech Center. I don't know what the prices would be, but I would imagine that they are pretty high. Everyone wants a view of the beautiful snowcapped mountains!

OOOps, I just saw that this is the "Colorado" forum, not the Denver forum.

If you live in a west-facing building, or have west facing windows, and your view is not blocked by another building, you can have mountain views just about anywhere in the metro area.
