They are both annoying. Neither town feels "real" to me. If you insist on living in either town, go with Aspen. It's more built up, more going on, less isolated than Telluride. If you have your heart set on Telluride, check out Ophir.

He bought the home in 2007 for 7.5M and is now selling it for 18M. It is up on Raspberry Patch Rd.

I thought she already had one. Bigger than most hotels, big on the antler-to-leather furniture quotient. Maybe she's building something that feels more like a home.

She’s been in Telluride for a while now. Maybe just building a new house?

Maybe. I'd so like to see a really expensive house that puts the money into finishes and beautiful design and maybe a sauna and stuff, and not just size. Some of those look like hotels. I can't imagine reading a book or sitting and talking in some of the three-story entry ways. I'm not envious, and I think a lot of money could buy a lot of house- but put the money into things you can really enjoy, not just size.

What I mean is, I think putting the money into houses that look like medical centers or hotels isn't putting the money into making a home. Of course, someone wealthy will likely build a sizeable house, and it can certainly have great finishes, but at some point, the sheer size takes away from the beauty, at least to me.
