90's? (Denver: rental car, rental, live)

Are these normal temps for this time of year ? I am trying to escape the heat.....LOL

According to the weather channel the average high for June is 83, for July is 90 and for August is 87. There will be lots of days especially in July and August where the high is in the nineties. But you will also see plenty of days in the eighties or even some seventies. Even the days that it gets hot aren't that bad because of the lack of humidity and it always cools down at night.

That is so true! I've been in the Denver area in July when the temps were in the 90's and I didn't need to run the A/C in my rental car! Even while sitting in traffic. It doesn't feel as bad as a place that's humid and 90's like where I'm at now.

That was one thing that really impressed me about Denver. That was two years ago. Is it still as clean there in the city as when I visited? That was impressive too. And that ride on the indoor tram (is that what it was?) to travel around in the airport.

Unfortunately I made the decision to move to sweaty Atlanta 7/05 so I can’t comment on the cleanliness of the city but I can tell you that the temperatures are about the same between ATL and DEN but I have to run my AC in April here while I never ran it while I lived in Denver. Some people run their AC in Denver but it really isn’t necessary almost then entire year.

I do think DIA is one of the most beautiful and functional airports I have ever been in.

I have lived in Denver for 17 years and have never had a/c in my house. The evenings are cool. Little to no humidity. It's nice compare to both coasts.
