How is it pronounced?

Is it kan-uhn or kan-yuhn?

Or rhyming with pinon [pronounced in Spanish]?

Wow, I'm surprised that would warrant a "roll eyes (sarcastic)" emoticon. (That's the name of that emoticon.)

There seems to be a big debate about the name of a person who lives in Colorado, well documented on the Interwebs.

Yes, I know, but I don't have that character on my keyboard. I even checked tech help prior to posting the thread.

I speak Spanish. I was asking how it is pronounced by Americans. Not always the same.

Allrightythen.

alt+164 on keypad = ñ
alt+130 on keypad = é

As to a Colorado resident, I always say "Coloradan." We don't call residents of Mexico "Mexicoans," now do we?

I have always said "Coloradoan" mainly because it rhymes with Puebloan so it sounds better to me.

What is a Springs resident called? Springer lol

Because it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. There are some misinformed people who call themselves "Coloradoans," but I have never heard EVER "Coloradonians." Where is Coloradonia?

How do you get miss informed if someone likes to say Coloradoan? Both ways are ok just a personal performance as to what they call themselves.....
