I live on the Broomfield/Westminster border and am familiar with the area. All the schools you listed are good, I wouldn't worry about any of them one bit. I would pick the school that is closest to where you are going to be living.

What constitutes the "best" school is subjective. What's important to you? Test scores? Diversity? Extra-curricular? Teacher-student ratio? PTO or other parental involvement? Etc.

We just moved to the Broomfield area ourselves, and initially looked at the 2 specific neighborhoods you mentioned, although we personally ruled them out. Those 2 neighborhoods are both in the Adams 12 district. If I'm not mistaken, kids living in those subdivisions would go to Coyote Ridge Elem., Rocky Top middle school (Anthem) or Westlake Middle (Broadlands), and Legacy High.

ETA: I agree w/ Bradburn that all the schools you listed are good. I believe they all rated "High" or better on the last school performance reports. Each neighborhood and school will have its own unique characteristics that set it apart. Only you can determine which neighborhood and school will be the best fit for your family.

Broadlands is in Adams-12 for sure. Anthem may be one of the areas in one of the smaller districts (St. Vrain or Brighton). You need to check with the school districts. If anyone knows where the students come from, it's them. I agree with the sentiments that "good schools" mean different things to different people.

Also, none of the Broomfield schools in the BVSD feed into Monarch High. Broomfield Heights MS and Aspen Creek K-8 feed into Broomfield High.

Default Mckay Landing in Broomfield-need opinions!

We are considering a home in this neighborhood, our research indicates Meridian is a good school, also there is a pre-school in the neighborhood,(dont know much about that one though) We are hoping for an active neighborhood in terms of a lot of kids/actvities/neigbhors who are social and lots of kids playing....does anyone know this neighborhood or may know someone who lives here have any feedback?

Default Looking for dentist and orthodontics practice in/near Broomfield

We are moving to Broomfield, can anyone suggest a great dentist, orthodontist, and pediatrician that they are very happy with in that area? We have 3 boys ages 9, 7, and 3.....
