Here's a poll for the people who are wanting to move to Colorado.

Would CD be a better source of information for your potential move if it told you the good AND bad about Colorado, or would you prefer to only hear the good parts?

I would hope we could provide a balanced view of things without swinging too wildly either way.

I want to hear everything as objectively as possible because one person may write about something as a negative that I think is a positive or might not care about either way.

Wanting to only hear the good is a recipe for for hating a new place and wanting to move out in 6 months.

Only if the bad news is about Colorado Springs! LOL just joking.

As long as its constructive criticism, I think every place can improve itself, including Colorado. Even Pueblo can improve itself!

I'm really not sure what the OP is getting at. Usually the bad comes out after a few posts.

IMO, tell it like you see, but make it clear that it is just one perspective among many. Write about the good and the bad, without presenting the bad in a whining, complaining, blaming manner. Just present your perspective without the judgement and the name calling. Offer constructive solutions for the negatives you see.

Great point. I can't recall reading a single thread or post on here where people were really holding back from saying whatever is on their mind, especially when it comes to the downfalls of a given area.

What the OP is trying to get at is very simple. It is an attempt to start that "native" and non-native discussions, so Sterlinggirl could put in her opinions about how bad Colorado is getting, with all these new people and give us her "native-born" "god given" opinion. All the good and bad of living in Colorado and the perceptions, true and false, about moving here, are all well presented. When the specific issues come on varied topics, it will be addressed.and then her opinion can be heard. There is no need for this type of ridiculous poll.

That wasn't it, but thanks for the personal attack anyway.

I have to agree with Sterling on this... Live's little rant sounded a lot worse than anything s/he could have legitimately accused you of here.

Personally, I think the title is redundantly stating the main purpose of these forums, but I sure didn't see it as an attempt to start a flame war.
