I tend to either go to my sisters place on the weekend, or stick around town. The tourists are entertaining with their wacky hijinks, but get a bit annoying after several months.

This weekend I herded geese. Not as easy as it sounds.

Cool and cloudy this Saturday, supposed to rain later today. The Mt Sneffles run between Ouray and Ridgway is this morning, the Ridgway Farmers Market Sunday, and next weekend the Ouray County Fair and Rodeo. I'm looking forward to the County Fair, sounds like fun.

Quiet lazy week of falling asleep under a large tree in the Town Park, reading a few books, walking around town and hiking at the state park here. The great thing about being retired is if I don't want to do anything, I don't have to. My time is my own.

Every day, I call in "well" and stay home....

Spent Sunday at my sisters, a very pleasant day. I try to find small hometown old fashioned places to eat at. I hate the plastic chains and refuse to eat there. Anyway, we had lunch at a campground above Cedaredge. Small cafe with an outdoor patio. Amazing good food and ice cream with handmade waffle cones. This evening a cool front came though, some rain, wind and at 9:00pm it's 50 degrees. Was in the low 30's this morning. I just seriously love living here.

It was very cool here last night with rain. Walked out on my patio with my coffee this morning and SNOW covered San Juans greeted me. How cool is that?
