Scenery is awesome. Basically the area consists of what lies along US-40 and is heavily dependent on tourism and skiing. There is an Amtrak station at the Winter Park Hotel. Expect snowy winters and any two hour drive to Denver includes a trip over Berthoud Pass, below. If I were young, single and needing a full time job, I'd be there as fast as I could get there.
