We recently made a driving trip that included I-25 across Colorado. In our early married days, we spent a lot of time in Colorado, but it's been about 15 years since we were there. I'd forgotten how magnificent it is!

As we passed through Vail, we saw a large copper-roofed building that was covered with plastic - apparently undergoing restoration. What is that building?

Around Rifle there were several ponds with very blue water. Can you tell me about those?

Thanks. Love your state.

It is I-70, not I-25, that you are talking about
I just drove past Vail the other day. I think that the building with the copper accents is the new Ritz-Carlton Residences. Ritz-Carlton Residences Vail Colorado MLS Listings
