Do they ever show any kid-friendly films? I realize they're about the indie films, which I'm cool with, but I don't want to take my 9 year old daughter to something that's pushing itself to be edge and/or risque in the name of art. Just wondering if I should bother watching the site for something we can see together.

Disregard, I should have done some more digging before posting... After looking into their programs and events, I found what I was looking for. If anyone else is interested or curious, they *do* have a family-friendly film series. Their next event is Saturday, 25 September, at 10AM.

I have another question, though. Do you have to have a membership to attend films/events, or is that just for special benefits (discounted & free tickets, free popcorn, etc)?

You do not have to have a membership to attend, but tickets are less expensive. Even full price is less than a regular theater, though, and they sell Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
