I'd been following his high school career for most of the last four years and this Upstate native "running beast" has already impressed me as a mere freshman in college. This year should be memorable for the Gamecocks if they keep it together for the entire season. Lattimore's health is undoubtedly a significant part of the team's hope for success, although they have finally brought depth and skill to many different positions on offense and defense simultaneously (most notably at QB). Hopefully they will achieve a one loss record, and hopefully that loss will happen in Clemson's Death Valley.

Prophetic words for the game vs. UofK. Lattimore played in the first half and SC completely dominated on offense. No Lattimore in the second half and the team was shut out. If that doesn't show how impressive this young freshman is, then nothing else that happens during this season will.
