We'll be relocating during the summer of 2014 and I've been looking into great schools for my daughter. I've been to the Rock Hill areas and the only thing that leaves a bad taste in my mouth is how parents are shut out. I haven't been to every school, but the ones' I have been to are pretty much just drop them off and pick them up. I'm looking for a school that is open an teachers that keep you informed. The last school my dd attended, I had to play the guessing game to figure out what work was being done in the classroom. Am I missing something or have times just changed. I don't remember it being like this. At either rate before I ramble any further, I've looked into Round Top Elementary and I've been to Bridge Creek in the past, but I'm sure things have changed since then.
Can anyone give me any information or either of the school? Any information would be appreciated.

This is the Columbia forum - you'd be better off posting in the Rock Hill/Lancaster forum or the general South Carolina forum.

I meant to add that this location is in Columbia. I guess it was a bad idea to reference Rock Hill. I was rambling on past experiences and trying to explain what I was looking for. Thanks

OK, gotcha; I've never heard of the schools you mentioned so since you brought up Rock Hill, I thought that was their location. Mea culpa.
