New plan for the old Jim Moore site being presented informally to Development and Design this week. Looks like apartments with retail and a restaurant.
He just got approval for that brewery project at N Main and Sunset just last week. That development has a 3 story office block with it. He’s not wasting anytime is he? I like this development.

Pretty sure this is a different Middleton. The company has an address in Virginia.
yes, Scott Middleton is the developer who just received approval for a brewery and office building on N. Main at Sunset. Steven Middleton is the developer inquiring about this new Jim Moore redevelopment.
There’s two different projects on North Main. The first is the one you linked that has been out a while. The second is the one I linked at the top of this page, it was just added to the Design Board agenda for May 13th. It is a preliminary showing to the board to get their feedback before it officially is submitted for review. Both are being done by people whose last names are Middleton though not the same person. Hopefully the neighborhoods surrounding it don’t torpedo this one because it’s a much better option compared to Clear Dot Charter school and what the property currently looks like. It could also lead to redevelopment of other run down properties nearby.
I agree. I really hope it doesn't get shot down. I really like how he made it look like three structures on the Sumter St. side. I really like the live-work units resembling old brick warehouses. Come on Cottontown, don't fail us.

I would hope they would like this better than the charter school that was proposed here.. Bringing people to this section of North Main seems like a win win.. not sure you can get any better (type) of development than this especially the Sumter Street side which creates a mini "district" of sorts in that block.. This reminds we of the type of development in South End along South Blvd. The only thing I dont like is its frontage on N. Main seems somewhat minimal given that is a major street... but I am not an architect.....
