Looking to take over lease/ownership of a well established barber (not beauty) shop. Nothing to large, perhaps enough for three chairs in a well established area with lots of traffic. Would also start from scratch if I found the right location. Looking to take over/start in early August.
I go to a place in the Boozer Shopping center on the corner of Bush and Broad. There are 4 chairs in the place, but I think only three barbers, and at least 2 of them look like they're on the verge of retirement. Maybe they'd have a spot for you at least, or know more barbers around the city.
Extremely busy 2-chair barber shop in small town in northeast Missouri, possibly for sale soon. Heavy traffic area, large concrete parking lot, all brick building. Completely remodeled when purchased 20 years ago. Current partnership agreement requires that I give current partner the option to buy my half or sell his half to me. Paperwork has been initiated. If I end up buying, I wish to retire and sell. Next door, in this 2-office building, is currently rented to a busy nail salon. Two separate spaces with separate entrances.
