Possibly looking to move to Chapin or Lexington this summer. We lived in Fort Mill last year but it wasn’t really for us. My main concern is the schools regarding Special Education. My two sons have IEPs and are in 12:1:2 integrated classrooms. Are there any good schools that have good special education services? I’m looking into either the Columbia area or near Raleigh in NC. Thanks for any help you can give!

Depends on what you specifically need. I would recommend reaching out to the schools themselves and asking to talk to the schools themselves. My daughter had an IEP, but was able to be in a normal class room, just need extra time and attention, not much. Certain teachers were better at it then others. If yours is more severe, you may need to pay stronger attention. And how old? Is it primary or secondary? I would suggest easier time at the primary level in SC.
