In Washington DC the NW side of the city is most desirable while most of us would not venture into SE.
How about Columbia, does it have a similar distinction as well?
Thanks.
Yeah DemanoRock is right.. you cant say something like. "Dont move to South Columbia" without omitting/including good and bad areas because all "sides" have them. Columbia is not a large cosmopolitan city like DC with 700k people crammed in 70 sq. miles. Its also not a small hamlet where there is a good and bad side of the railroad tracks.. I think the easiest way to approach it is to talk about what type of neighborhood do you want, home style/price/rent range, schools (if applicable), and the type of amenities that you want to be close to. I didnt mention crime because that is somewhat subjective and is usually arrived at once the aforementioned items are covered.
Thank you both DemanoRock and Woodlands for your input.
I'm interested in a furnished apartment in a desirable neighborhood in Columbia.
I could even stay in a clean (not smelly) motel for a short time before I find such an apartment, hate to take time off to find such an apartment for that would cost me some serious $$$.
