Hi everyone! I know this is a long shot and I've been browsing the forums but just couldn't see anything for the Sumter area regarding schools, neighborhoods, etc ... Please direct me to the right place if there is one
I'm looking for information about the Sumter County school's Special Education system/classes. I've been on the district website seeking info but site sucks to be blunt. I'm mainly interested in what is offered as far as life skills for high school 'special needs' kids. Long story short ... we have an opportunity to move to the Sumter area (looking more in the area of Wedgewood, Dalzall or down in the Pocalla Springs New Builds (Sumter) where we have family but my daughter will have 1 year left of school and I'm not sure if I want to stay behind for this last year or move with my husband some June '21. I plan on contacting the school district for information but thought I would reach out here and a few other public sites to gain info from anyone who might be able to help. - Have a happy, fun and safe New Year all and TIA -
