Me and my husband haven’t had any issues, but I’m from here so I couldn’t tell you from an outsider point of view. Why kind of information because we could write a book.

Checkout the Blythewood area. Blythewood to Fort Mill, 58 miles via I77.

My partner and I are considering SC as one possible area to relocate to. I'm on Zillow almost every day checking out homes in different areas. I found one I really like in Camden, but we aren't ready to pull trigger on location yet. I sent you a DM.

Genuinely curious...why would gay couples move to a place, sight unseen, that has a history of "frowning upon" these kinds of people (overall), instead of areas that are historically more tolerant? Wanting to understand the mindset.

Having lived in the Chicagoland area, Texas, Arkansas, and Arizona, I've found the most racist and homophobic people in the Chicagoland area.

In SC’s cities it’s live and let live on LGBTQ issues. It’s even live and let live with the majority of the population in the state’s rural places. Too many of our GOP legislators haven’t been hit hard enough with that reality, yet. Give it a minute. We’re more purple than we get credit for on social issues in SC. Too many kooks still have the floor, but again, wait a minute.
