We are moving back to the Columbia area soon and I was just curious if anyone had any info on where I could find more information regarding mommy groups, or playgroups?? I have an 11 month old daughter and would love to get involved with local moms and have a playgroup for my daughter!
Even more awesome if someone knows of an AP (attachment parenting) type group (cloth diapering, baby wearing, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, organic eating, recycling, green living, no or delay/selective vaccinating, ect...)
Check Meetup.com. There are various mommy groups listed with varying interests and in different areas. Yahoo Groups has a few as well. Good luck with your move back to Columbia; it's a great city for families.
Yahoo Groups has a great Columbia Moms group, I was a part of it when I lived in Columbia, I would definitely look it up! I believe the name of it was just Columbia_SC_Moms
