I'm a mother of 2 and wife to 1

We will be relocating to the area next spring. (so 1 year from now)
My husband will be attending USC. We like the Irmo area and are looking for a nice subdivision to live in.

Since my husband will be commuting back and forth. We want to live near I26 and I like to be close to the Mall
We will be renting for a while to make sure this is the place we want to be.

Since we have kids we are looking for a house with a back yard (because we have a doggy)

My husband is a Marine so we are VERY flexible about moving. This will be the first time we lived in a Non Military subdivision.

Can you please tell me the subdivisions that are in the area?

If you want to be more convenient to Ft. Jackson then you'll probably like NE Columbia for the Village of Sandhills and the school district is good there.

NW Columbia/Irmo could also be a good fit with Columbiana Grande/good schools. You may also be able to get something zoned Lexington 1 that is close to I-20.

It's hard to suggest a neighborhood without a price range and a more exact location.
