I was thinking of relocating to Columbus, GA! But have a strong background in the medical field. I wanted to know was it very difficult to get on at the Medical center there (Saint Frances/Doctors/or Regional) and any other medical center there?

The cost of living?
is crime rate very high?
is everything based or isn't as for as pricing based on Army base there?

What area of healthcare do you have experience in? I don't believe it is hard to get on. All of the medical facilities in Columbus are undergoing major expansions. The cost of living is great here. Crime is found on the southside.

Why are you lying and only telling them crime is strictly on the Southside someone got killed not too far from me last week and guess what I don't live on the Southside.. With all due respect you know as well as I do that crime is widespread all the way to the prestige Northside. So let us not just single out one specific side of town and just basically label it the only area with crime. On subject it shouldn't be too hard to get on in Columbus from my understanding they're always looking for people but don't quote me on that. As for crime yes there is a crime problem here but compared to our worst year which was 2008 things aren't that bad but id still recommend being cautious. People will tell you like Columbus1984 has already done that crime is basically a Southside problem when in realitybits widespread. Alot of what goes on isn't always reported that's one thing to keep in mind living here. Crime happens in all parts of Columbus don't let anyone give you the false notion that you won't have to worry about it anywhere else except the Southside. Overall you'll be fine regardless its all what you make of it.
