West Point based Batson-Cook recently broke ground on a $4.8 million apartment project in West Point. The project will consist of 75,000 sq. ft. of space in 3 buildings. Completion is set for late 2015. More units are planned for the development as well as retail.

Great news for west point ga. And speaking of apartments I was on bidclerk.com and I was in phenix city construction projects and then I clicked on retail projects and there is a 200 unit luxury apartment developement and it said plans tentatively include retail and restaurant developments it was last updated on 9/8/14 but it said est. start date is february 16,2015. Does anybody have any idea where this will be at in phenix city. I wondering if this is still part of the apartment developement off of riverchase drive. Or will this be in another location in phenix city.

Mike Bowden is suppose to start on luxury apartments across from the Hughston Memorial Hospital in early 2015. From my understanding, it should be nicer than Lakeside Village Apts. It will be riverfront. My daughter works at another luxury apt complex that he owns.

We now have a new restaurant at Pierce Crossings... CJ's. I have not been there. Has anyone tried it? I noticed also Robin's Nest, a boutique and gift store and we are getting a formal attire store behind Subway. I believe it will open in January.
