What does everyone predict we will see in the Columbus area in the next year? Downtown development seems to be growing at a rapid pace and I've heard a lot of new rumored retail that has not yet arrived.

I'm sure downtown will continue to grow and I wouldn't be surprised to hear of even more projects. There probably will be some new good local restaurants opening in that area. I think we will finally get that official Costco announcement very soon which from reading these forums will make some people on here very happy. I'm pretty sure we will see a few other places on our most wanted list show up.

So what's everyone's speculations?

I think we will see the beginning of TAD taking place in our older neighborhoods. Five Points,East Highland,Bibb City and The Liberty Distict will all show signs of revitalization by late 2017/early 2018.

That's my biggest hope for Columbus. Rebuilding the established neighborhoods and preserving their character.
