The huge mountains of reclaimed crushed concrete from the old foundation and treatment plant are huge! The site has some environmental issues so they still have lots of work to do preparing the site. They have a good contractor working on the site prep because it is really shaping up fast.

Heard Saturday the anchor tenant they are working on is Whole Foods. Bass Pro is interested in Columbus but not this location.

Wasn't Bass Pro rumored to go on 315 once all that starts to develop?

Yes that's been the rumor for a while. I just wish they would hurry up and develop a location. We are the only 2nd tier in Georgia that still doesn't have a Bass Pro.

I would imagine that Whole Foods is probably more do-able now that Amazon owns them.

Whole Foods would be awesome and terrible at the same time! Awesome for the selection and terrible on my wallet! Haha!

I would strongly see Cabella’s coming to Columbus instead of Bass Pro Shops. Just looking at how the company has been growing Columbus seems a better fit for Bass Pro Shops. Although Bass Pro owns both Columbus’ market is way more primed for Cabellas. Whole Foods would be awesome here even their 365 concept. I have heard some rumors the city is making it difficult for some retailers to come in the city. I heard this is why Five Below pulled out. Too much government red tape.

Whole Foods 365 doesn't exist anymore, they opened at store in Atlanta and announced plans to change to a regular Whole Foods weeks later. Obviously, Amazon is figuring it out as they go.

Whole Foods would be awesome! I wonder how Fresh Market would fare?

Who else is rumored to be coming to Midland Commons?
