That's the last thing the city needed, another mini strip mall! I just hope they'll be able to fill it up.

I don't think it looks bad but I think they want an Avalon type look and feel and in the setup of buildings, this feels more like, well almost exactly like the shopping center on corner of Whitesville, and Airport. I think they need national real estate company promoting or it will be dud

Totally agree. Worried they won’t spend the money to make this look upscale. Let’s see how it plays out.

You have to remember this is local money and they don't understand. Plus, they were $18 million in the hole before even breaking ground. I would imagine this site work could easily be $5-15 million more

I really do not see much resemblance to Sidney Simons or Harmony Place. The developer has deep pockets so I will stay positive until I see some different being built.

Harmony Place is the one I'm talking about, and it's built the exact same way with internal walkways, and this isn't great in 2021. People want driveable - like Avalon. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ha...!4d-84.9601419

I'm not sure an advertising flyer that looks like this is appealing to anyone as to the 'vision' for this project. Developers pockets can be as deep as you want, but people want results that national firms can provide. https://images1.loopnet.com/d2/s60Ti...20Brochure.pdf

The design reminds me of Ashley Park in Newnan. I like the development in Newnan. My biggest hope is they will announce some new retail soon. Hopefully something not in this market.

Local money does not understand? This is a firm that has accumulated 100’s + million in wealth by developing successful real estate ventures. Yeah, they must be pretty stupid.

Ashley Park has all internal roads, this one is only walkable from the inside.

Looks like my post got cut off or I blacked out. They do not understand attracting national tenants. I'm pretty sure that's clear by the current mix of development in the site. Publix is/was probably their largest deal yet and it was simply a power play to keep another grocier out.
