The hotel will have its own section of the parking garage. Other than the check-in drive up off the circle which may have some handicap spaces, I don't think there's much of parking lot for the hotel. The parking garage will be for the hotel and the retail/office building.

Riverfront Place is on track to be known as the epicenter of activity that defines what the new Columbus is all about. This 7.5-acre, mixed-use development is slated to encompass the sought after live, work, and play way of life that has gained popularity in some of the country’s most sought-after destinations. Riverfront Place will include more than 800,000 sq. ft. of residential, office, retail, hotel, and restaurant space, signifying WC Bradley Real Estate’s most significant real estate investment in company history.

They truly need to get other/some retail spots rented before they even look to build even more, IMHO

Agreed. Focus on leasing existing space. However, in this environment, it will be difficult.

to JayHay's point, they basically either have to pave the lot where parking garage is going, or build the massive parking garage at this point or hotel guests will not have anywhere to park. Unless they can go Valet only and lease spaces from TSYS due to low amount of employees on-site currently.

Valet and leasing spaces from TSYS seems like a good idea and a win-win all the way around.
