Hi,

I'm going to be doing a medical residency at OSU Medical Center for 4 years, starting July 1, 2011. I'm a male in my late 30s, single (fiancee and I broke up after 5 years together....), and extroverted. Does anyone have suggestions on good places to buy or rent? Basically, I'm looking for a fun place where I can go outside and walk around/go to the bookstore/coffeeshop. Bonus if it's close to campus....

Thanks!

Possibly the South Campus Gateway. There are some relatively new apartments there, a Barnes and Noble with a Starbucks, and there are several coffee shops on high street. It is also right on the corner of campus, not far from the medical center, close to bars, etc...

Price point? lol

Clintonville, Grandview Heights, Victorian Village, Arena District/Short North...nothing more than 10 minutes away from campus really. Victorian Village and Grandview Heights are super close to the med center (I work there so I can vouch!) =)

Bonus to Victorian Village, Grandview Heights, and South Campus Gateway is you can walk/bike/take bus to med center and save about $200-300 a year on the parking pass

Heck, even Clintonville and Short North are close enough to bike
