I will be visiting Columbus around the 2nd of April on business. Where are all the nightlife spots in Columbus? Any good areas for bar-hopping?

The easy answers are the Arena District and the Short North, both are pretty well connected along High St. and quite easily accessible if you're staying downtown. Do you know where your hotel is located?

I second that, the Arena District and the Short North are where all the cool bars are. Also, April 2 is Gallery Hop in the Short North and that's always a lot of fun (as long as it is nice outside!). The nice thing about both areas is they are right next to each other and easily walkable. Welcome to Columbus!

Depends what you're into but there are a few "gems" I would pass on.

Jeni's Ice Cream. Anyone will tell you this. Don't be shy when you're waiting on line and ask to try as many as you want. They really don't care.

North Star Cafe: Amazing Brunch. Especially for the morning after a night out.

Mouton: great little cocktail place for after-work drinks or night cap.

Bodega: Fantastic selection of beers and overall pretty popular and usually busy. Might be a great place to meet people.
