German Village. Thurman Cafe and the Book Loft are there. Short North with lots of bars and restaurants... and Jeni's. North Market and the Arena District. Campus is interesting too.

It depends on what your interests are. If you're like history, the Statehouse should be at the top of your list. However, you'll get much more out of it if you research its history a bit before your visit, or go with someone who knows something about it. For example, the story of its design and construction, its ties to President Lincoln and the Civil War, and the ghost stories associated with it. The sad thing is, I'd bet that few who have lived here all of their lives, and in some cases pass by it regularly, have been inside it or know anything about it. It's a real treasure with a fascinating history that is interwoven with the history of this state and nation.

Walking around Goodale Park and the surrounding homes of Victorian Village. I used to walk down Neil to Goodale and back to my dorm in Mack Hall when the weather was nice.

Also, just noticed, but does O I A stand for Office of International Affairs?

Speaking of places to visit, is there a restaurant located on the Scioto Mile? I heard it was right by the fountains.
