Does anyone know a reputable, and preferably affordable place that can convert VHS tapes to DVD? How about a projector film movie to DVD?

We have some old home videos from our childhood, parents wedding, etc that we want to convert in to DVD's. This way, they can be in a modern viewable format and we can save space.

Thanks!

**I have no financial interest in this company. They did a good job converting my neighbor's family movies.

If you don't mind doing the recording yourself you can buy a recorder. One end has VHS and one side is DVD. Put the tape in and a blank DVD and hit dub. It will record as is to DVD (so no chapters). There are also inputs if you want to record from camcorder

I tried tackling it once. It was an abysmal failure and waste of money.

I have finally decided to give this place first dibs:

https://www.myfamilyography.com/

They are local, open on Saturdays and do EVERYTHING in-house. I will see how they do.
