I've known people who've lived at both Runaway Bay and the Quarry. They're nice enough, I guess, but they're not really in Grandview. They're across the river from what's traditionally considered the Grandview area (actually Marble Cliff, but tomato tomato), and they are even further from the main commercial areas like Grandview Avenue. The bus does run by it, but Columbus buses are notoriously bad.
Heritage is fine. It's safe, convenient enough location and affordable. It's an older complex and it shows but you get what you pay for.

You make it sound like The Quarry/Marble Cliff is super far removed. It's literally 2 miles or less away from all of the restaurants on Grandview Avenue (8 minute drive or less typically), 3.5 miles from Grandview Yard (9 minutes) and super easy access to 670. I definitely agree about not wanting to rely on the buses in the general UA/Marble Cliff area. They will get you where you need to go but it will take very long.

Thank you to everyone who has posted on here so far. What about Colony Club Apartments? Are those pretty decent and safe? The prices there are pretty low.

Can't comment on the specific apartment or management but very safe/suburban-esque area of Columbus. Very close to Kroger, the commercial thoroughfare of west 5th ave and a convenient drive/uber to OSU, Victorian Village, Short North, Grandview ave etc.

I had a friend who lived in Colony Club. They were fine. Nothing noteworthy, good or bad. You have a pool, so that's cool. The location is good - you are right across the street from a grocery store. But it's a big complex, and if you're looking for more of a neighborhood feel (which is one of the big appeals of Grandview), you won't have that.
