Schools - It really depends on what you are looking for as far as schools go. Some have better sports,some have higher grade cards, some are more diverse, etc. You can check out the local schools at

Jobs - same thing. It depends on what line of work you do. The unemployment rate in Ohio is close to, if not over 10% right now. But if your in a field like nursing, you can get a job.
Airport/Casino - Yes there is a casino coming to town, and it will be located on the West side of Columbus. The airport is more of just a rumor right now.

We moved to Powell 4 years ago and found it to be a very family friendly community with nice parks, a cute downtown, easy shopping and terrific public schools. I strongly recommend the area.

I haven't heard anything new about a new airport proposal. The casino will be on the west side of the city off West Broad and Georgesville. Hopefully there will be some revitalization to that area. I wouldn't consider living off West Broad. I would go a bit further south to Georgesville right outside the 270 loop.
