I will be moving to Ohio June 1st from the Indianapolis area. I have no idea where or how to begin looking for a place to live. The man I am moving there to be with will be commuting to Mansfield and I expect to find a job in Columbus. I would love to find something secluded a bit and an easy enough commute to both cities. Any ideas on where to begin the search?

Mount Vernon, Marion, Mount Gilead, Cardington....those are some places to consider. I grew up in Marion - it's a decent sized town, I think 30-40 thousand people maybe. Smack dab inbetween Columbus and Mansfield - about an hour to both. Rt. 309 runs through Marion and goes straight to Mansfield and Rt. 23 does as well - goes straight to Columbus.

Hi, I used to live in Marion too, back in the 70's, but my place of work was allways going on strike, so moved to Nv. Marion is nice. Anyway lost track of a old friend named Hazel Clara Roberts. Does anyone know her or her where abouts? Thanks.

What about Delaware? It is a prosperous growing suburb. It is in the middle of the two, and not far from the entertainment of Columbus.

Delaware is a great bet. A really developing town, but out of the way enough for some peace and quiet. The first step is, of course, to speak with a Realtor. They find homes for people each and every day (something most people only do a few times in life) and are certainly an invaluable resource. As a buyer, you're paying for representation anyway, so you may as well choose to have some. Send me a message with your info and we'll get you started.

We are transferring from Michigan (near Flint but not in Flint) and want to know about Galion area. We liked the new High School we toured but also liked Cardington High School. Any suggestions on where to settle? Need to make decision before end of June so we can start looking for a home. Liked the Deleware area. Want to stay w/ smaller school district.
