Blankenburg has ignited the team this week.

Well... the Blue Jackets look terrible. The game I went to against Boston was pretty uninspired. Bruins didn't even try in the 3rd period. Lots of Boston fans at Nationwide. I had a good time but was hoping for a much better game.

The Bruins have a loyal fan base no matter where they are relocated to, black and gold ‘til I’m dead and cold.

Zach Werenski has a torn labrum and a separated shoulder and will be out for the season. Blankenburg has a fractured/sprained ankle and will be out 6-8 weeks, Voracek and Kuraly still on IR.

Well. Columbus is tied for 2nd fewest points in the league. Always next year.

Let’s hope that the Blue Jackets will finish dead last this season, 1 point ahead of Chicago but they have 2 games at hand.

They need to have the #1 pick to get Connor Bedard, he may only be 17 years old but his numbers with the Regina Pats (WHL) are insane and comparable to McDavid when he was in juniors.

Yep, would really help to get that extra 5% chance at Bedard. Remember when the Penguins were going to leave, and then Crosby comes and wins them Cups and gets a new arena? Lemieux before him did the same for that franchise/city. Bedard and Gaudreau could solidify the Blue Jackets in a similar way. We can only hope!

Gavrikov and Korpisalo going to the LA Kings in exchange for Jonathan Quick.

Kekoleinen or whatever the but whole GM’s name is has been making deals before the deadline to make sure the Blue Jackets suck forever.

I forgot to mention that this deal includes the 2023 1st round pick and the 2024 3rd round pick also going to the LA Kings, Anze Kopitar and Drew Doughty said the deal sucks as they were close friends with Quick, Kings fans are also highly pi**ed off.

Quick already traded to the Vegas Golden Knights for Michael Hutchinson and a 2025 7th round pick.

Jakub Voracek and a 2023 6th round draft pick to Arizona in exchange for Jon Gillies

Gustav Nyquist going to the Wild for a 2023 5th round draft pick.

These deals were downright ridiculous. Trading away a chance at a generational talent for a goalie who is traded away for a pick in the beer leaguer round. Trading Nyquist for what amounts to a bag of pucks. Are they trying to get a Kelly cup contender in Kalamazoo? I just don’t get it.

They will really need to ink some deals for free agents over the summer if they expect to have a chance next season.
