The game at the Shoe should be very cool. Will be a twist for OSU fans to root for the team in blue and Michigan fans to root for the team in red in the football stadium. I bet they get a great crowd, maybe north of 90,000.

The CBJ have a nice young team, but at some point they need to turn promise into results. The run a few years ago where they beat the Lightning in 4 was awesome, but they've done nothing else in their history. I think Marchenko, Fantilli, Voronkov, Chinakov, etc. could be electric, but they need the vets like Johnny Hockey and Laine to earn their salaries. Oh, and for Elvis to start playing better (and he has of late).

Looks more and more like Tarasov is probably the guy in net going forward. I think the big problem with the Jackets is just bad defense. Honestly we could replace all those guys. Forwards need some time to gel, mostly pretty young guys. I hope next year they compete for a playoff spot.

What do you think of the pick? Personally wanted Demidov.

Maybe they just needed a center, the Canadiens were probably glad to get Demidov. I hope the Blue Jackets were able to get a goalie at some point.

The only reason to draft Lindstrom so high is if you think he will be your center. I think a lot of people see him converting to wing though. He's already had back issues as an 18 year old and missed considerable time. Not sure I like that background. But now that he's here I obviously hope he balls outs. I just think Demidov was more can't-miss.

Yep, I don’t pretend to know what the guys in the front office are thinking but they really need to make some moves in free agency.
