I am looking to purchase a 2 bedroom townhouse ($50,000-$90,000) in Columbus and its surrounding areas (Westerville, Grandview, Bexley, etc.) but I'm unfamiliar with the area. I'm not looking for the most upscale home/area but my two main concerns are safety and no more than a 20-25 minute commute to school. If anyone had any suggestions of what towns/areas/etc. I should look at, that would be great. =) Thanks!

Is anything even available for that price range? Seems too low.

Yes, I have seen many townhouses in that price range on Realtor.com. I'm just not sure which areas are good.

Default Info on whats available

HI! I am Realtor with Keller Williams. I did a quick search for what you are looking for and in Franklin county there is about 300 different hits that fit in your broad category. If you are interested in seeing info about any of them, send me a message by clicking on my name and we can talk about whats available and narrow down your search to something closer to what you want.

There are not many townhomes for that price that are in decent areas. I would suggest looking into the Dublin and Worthington areas. Both are nice areas that are overall expensive, but also have areas with townhomes in your price range that are still safe and about 20 minutes from OSU. All areas of Dublin and Worthington are reasonably safe and also close to many amenities. Places closer to OSU tend to be either pricey or unsafe. One particular area to check out would be around Smokey Row near 270. This area is between Dublin and Worthington. I think it is Columbus zip, though. You might have some luck there and it is definitely safe. Another area to check out might be around Sancus Road in the northern part of Worthington.

Default Available townhomes

There are several properties available in the condo market at your price point. You can find a condo in areas such as Gahanna, Blacklick, Worthington, Dublin, Westerville and Canal Winchester at that price point.

My assistance is at no cost to you. So, please feel free to contact me for a complete list.
