Hi,

It is that time of year where I am desperately trying to figure out where to go for school and I am strongly considering Capital in Columbus Ohio. Part of me wants to move out of long island NY because the cost of living is so high without any of the benefits of say, one of the boroughs or manhattan proper (long island, esp suffolk county, is extremely WASP and suburban). I have heard on the Wikipedia page some positive things in the transportation about Columbus and taking an initiative to make itself more bicycle friendly and it also seems like a pet friendly city as well, I have a large dog and renting in NY is a nightmare when you have a pet like mine (he is sweet though). So I guess my question is what areas nearby capital law (i guess its located in downtown columbus) are decent for rent and such and how much does one typically pay for a 1-2 bedroom in columbus? I am really torn because there is a NY law school nearby that is offering me some scholarship money (not a lot, basically carrot on a stick) but the more I live here the more I start to feel like Snake Plisken, lol. Anyway let me know if you have any advice, ideas, whatever

-thanks

Well within walking distance would be Town St., that's a cool area.
