Can you buy this anywhere around Columbus? I was in Europe and loved the Coke they drank there because it has real sugar, no HFCS. I heard that Mexico and Canada are the same, and that sometimes these types of Coke can be found in certain US markets.

Anyone ever seen this for sale? Or know of any Jewish (because HFCS isn't kosher) or Mexican food markets around the area where I could look?

Cheapest place is Costco
Most expensive is Weiland fine meats
There are plenty of fine mexican groceries just south west of 270

I agree though, I hate HFC

This is a bit of an aside, but Sprite is releasing a mainstream product called "Sprite Green" that contains natural sugars, rather than HFC.

Also, I've purchased "natural" Coke products at the Giant Eagle on the corner of Bethel and Sawmill rd.

Let us know what you find. HFC is an ingredient that has no nutrition properties, and should be obsolete, and not consumed by anyone.

by natural, you mean with real cane sugar?

I went to wal-mart on bethel and saw that they had two kinds of coke- some with red caps, and some with white caps labelled "classic formula". Both types has HFC listed in the ingredients, so I didn't know what to make of this.

Not a member at Costco so I can't search there. I will do some exploring in local Mexican grocers once I get a chance.

You might want to consider costco.
Coke is $18 a case.
At Weilends it's $32

Buying 4 cases a year pays for your costco membbership.
I'll try and dig out the mexican grocery that has it. It just off the exit where 70 and 270 connect in the southwest part of columbus.

It's in a defunct shopping center that only has like a staples and a Sears.

I wish we could get real Dr. Pepper up here. I had it down in San Antonio a few years back....the best soda I have ever tasted in my life.
