Hey, guys!
I am recently keen on PortableApps.com. You can run so many apps off a USB drive.
However, I also found that a lot of apps are portably unavailable.
So I want to know is there any way to make them portable or simply is there a way that
I can run any app off a USB drive?
Thanks.

It is an app by app case as to whether you can run it off a USB stick or be truly portable. Most apps add things to the registry and/or install shared files onto the computer. Those will not be truly portable as they will only run properly on the computer you install them on.

This doesn't really have anything to do with gaming, post belongs in the computer forum.

Don't sweat it, as it's still here I guess the mods don't mind, so I can live with it. To answer your question, as Tom said, you can install probably almost any apps to your thumb drive, but they won't be portable. Standard apps require registry entries, and probably some supporting files, it'll work on the machine you installed from but not on a different one, and performance will likely suffer.

I would have thought so as well, but spammers rarely ever come back to reply

That and portableapps.com is an open source community based resource. No money in advertising it like this. I'm pretty good at catching them and reporting them when I see them.

you guys never heared of PortableApps.com ? there is no point for me to advertise for it.

as for my question, I found a perfect solution with Prayaya V3.

(though I am at the risk of clever advertising, I still like to share.)

This ware called Prayaya V3 can even make it possible for you to run some proprietary apps like MS office off a USB, so that you can use MS office from computer to computer. I don't know it is legal or not to do so, but I would say this is damning cool.

A few apps that I have tried on it are: Firefox, Opera, Safari, MS office, Nero, Winrar, Virtual DJ, Skype, Plants vs Zombie, KM Player, Yahoo Messenger, MSN, Picasa.

you can Google prayaya v3, I think posting a link here may be dangerous and offensive.
