I know another "what laptop computer should I buy thread" right well , uh yes mainly because I am looking for specifics. Here they are:

1. Battery life 6 hrs min.
2. Size of Screen 14"-16" non glare
3. I7 processor
4. SS HD 128G min
5. 4G Ram expandable to 8G
6. Argonomic solid construction
7. Some what light weight
8. W7 Professional or Premium 64bit
9. Great video card 1080i or 1080p
10. Blue Tooth and WiFi

This machine is mainly for travel and home use. It will require a docking station for home, run MS Office and some other third party software for video and audio editing.

One of the specs was it should include Windows 7, so no it doesn't meet the OP's request.

Because I game a lot and alienware caters to gamers more than the other companies. Also I always pick up their extended warranty and right before the warranty runs out I "accidentally spill something on it" and get a new one. They have never given me a problem about that. 2 years ago i destroyed the laptop and they no longer made my model so they gave me a newer upgraded one which i was happy about.

I recently bought the alienware m17x which ran me about 2 grand but I love it and I make a good living so the money wasnt really an object for me.

I guess it really depends on what you want to spend and what you want to do with the laptop

So you make good money and money isn't an object for you, yet you scam them out of replacement laptops on a regular basis?

Not responding to trolls who have nothing better to do than worry about what other people do.

@ Hattrick. Alienware laptops are great if you can justify spending that much money on a laptop and need the horsepower. Their customer service has been good to me.
