I deleted quicktime because I didn't think it was a program I used. But after trying to open itunes I realized that I did need it in order for itunes to work.

Is there any way I can redownload Quicktime with out having to reinstall the entire itunes program and lose all of my music? When I saw the message I was prompted to redownload the entire program, but I have way too much music to lose, that isn't backed up.

Reinstalling iTunes doesn't do anything to your music.

And why aren't you backing up your music if its that important?

It is all on my ipod. I have a program that uploads music from the iPod to the computer. I have used it before when I got a new computer and wanted my music on it. It would just take a few hours to do that, since there is so much and I thought there may be an easier way. So as long as my hard drive and ipod don't fail on the same day I should be fine. If they do break on the same day, it would be a freak occurence and I'll kick myself for it then.

thanks all
