My email is with Yahoo. When I went to sign in my password had been rembered by Windows and automatically comes up. How can I stop this from happenning again? Thank you,

Do you mean it logs you in automatically without entering your info or you enter your username and it puts the password in for you?

Go to Yahoo, uncheck "keep me signed in", remove your password and then clear your temp files and folders. How to Delete the Contents of the Temporary Internet Files Folder

I believe it is stored in a Cookie, not in Temporary Internet Files.

Probably right. I always use CCleaner so I have mostly forgotten about how things are in IE.
